01 · The ritual
First time in a hammam? Here's how it goes
No experience needed and nothing to bring. You'll be looked after from the door — here is the full sequence.
Warm up in the sauna
Dry heat first — it opens the pores and gets your skin ready for the scrub.
Scrub & foam on the marble
You lie on the heated stone; warm water, a thorough kese scrub, then a cloud of hot foam. Old skin leaves, you stay.
Massage
Therapists from Bali, the Far East and Türkiye. Male and female therapists available — just tell us your preference, and which areas are off limits.
Face mask & rest
A face mask, dimmed lights, no rush. Guests have been known to fall asleep — we take it as a compliment.
Allow 2 to 2.5 hours for the full package. A single massage or bath-only visit works too — message us and we'll fit you in.
